Paul's primary theme in Romans is the basic gospel, God's plan of salvation and righteousness for all humankind, Jew and Gentile alike. It includes justification by faith, but it also embraces such related ideas as guilt, sanctification and security.

About Our Faith
Faith Baptist Church is a Church that is focused on the Lord Jesus Christ. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.” (Acts 16:31).
We are a Bible Believing Church. We stand for the fundamental doctrines of Biblical Christianity. We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament and New Testament to be the verbally inspired word of God, the final authority for our faith and life.
We are an Independent Church. We are self-governing church we do not have a denonminational office, conference, fellowship or any other form of human organization that exercises control over the local congregation.
We are Evangelistic Church. We maintain a steadily expanding program of community outreach and missions, seeking to bring all to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

About Our History
Our church was planted by the Lindale Baptist Church and (then) Pastor David Doan in 1955. Brother Arthur Gordon labored in this mission work until he was stricken with polio. On October 25, 1958 the work was officially organized as a local New Testament Baptist Church, originally called First Baptist Church, and assembled in an old building on the corner of 4th and Gay Streets in Williamsburg.
Under the leadership of Pastor Ken Ogle, the Church outgrew that building and broke ground for the present facilities on State Route 133, south of the village, in 1968. When the church moved into the new building (which was built by the men of the church) the name was officially changed to Faith Baptist. The church soon added a Sunday School wing to the auditorium building and a separate educational facility was built in 1977.
In 1972 the church undertook a major ministry, beginning Faith Baptist Christian School, and operated it for almost two decades. The church's Missions Program has long been a highlight of its endeavors. As the church testifies: "Our Lord has given us the privilege to support some of the finest [missionaries] we have known."

GOD’S CLEAR PLAN FOR SALVATION
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Next, you must know that because of sin there must be a price paid:
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
This price can be paid by you with an eternity in Hell, or you can accept the price that Jesus paid for your sin:
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
To accept Jesus’ payment for your sin simply call on His name and ask Him to forgive your sins and save you:
Romans 10:9-13 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Will you accept the Lord Jesus and trust him as your personal savior?
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
He is faithful to do what He said He would
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
You can be saved right now by believing that Christ died for your sins and rose form the grave
2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
It’s your choice and no one else's.
